Abstract

Teachers training and their professional profile within of the discussion of the role in the classroom as well as their own knowledge training is a theme that is played in this document end that s is enriching for the current school debate. Also, the goal is to talk about the real effect and about the effect of the power of speech regarding skills in university teachers’ education and training.

Author Biography

Jaume Martínez Bonafé, Universitat de València

Doctor en Filosofía y Ciencias de la Educación y profesor titular en el Departamento de Didáctica
y Organización Escolar de la Universidad de Valencia. Ha impartido cursos, seminarios y
conferencias en diversas universidades españolas y de Latinoamérica, figurando en diferentes
programas de “doctorado de calidad”. Ha publicado diversos artículos y libros sobre el desarrollo
curricular, la formación del profesorado, la innovación educativa, y las políticas de control
sobre el currículum y el trabajo docente. Es autor, entre otros libros de: Trabajar en la escuela.
Profesorado y reformas en el umbral del S.XXI, Editorial Miño y Dávila, 1998; Políticas del
libro de texto escolar, en Editorial Morata, 2003, Gonzalo Anaya. Converses amb un mestre de
mestres, Edit. Tandem, 2004 (en col.laboració amb Conxa Delgado) y coordinó el libro de Varios
autores: Ciudadanía, poder y educación, Edit. Graó, 2004. Dirigió la investigación que fue Premio
Nacional de Investigación para el CIDE sobre las posibilidades y los límites de la escuela como
esfera pública en tiempos de capitalismo feroz y esclerotización de las democracias, de la que
surgieron los materiales Viure la democràcia a lescola (2000), de reciente edición en castellano
con el título Vivir la democracia en la escuela, en editorial MCEP. Tiene publicados capítulos en
diversas publicaciones colectivas y es miembro del consejo de redacción de diferentes revistas de
educación españolas y extranjeras, en las que colabora habitualmente.
