Abstract

This article is a reflection on student participation in the life of the school. At the beginning explains the concept of participation: process where all make decisions that are converted into actions. After presents an approach to the idea of childhood. It is respecting the specificity of childhood and appreciates the voice of children to build a democratic school. In this context, analyzes the participation as an element that defines the inclusive education. Finally, there is a review of the legislation, where it is clearly stated that the participation is a right of all people.
